At Roig Academy, we empower, nurture, and promote students’ achievements in a learning environment. We want our students to feel comfortable taking risks in order to inquire, explore and reflect on their learning. We use current pedagogy alongside evidence-based best practices. Our personal strategy, The Roig Approach, encourages our students to develop the necessary skills that allow them to be successful learners. The Roig approach; Reflect, Observe, Inquire and Grow (ROIG), encourages our students to develop the necessary skills. These skills allow them to be successful learners in our global community.
Through the facilitation of this approach, our students are able to grow both personally and socially. The approach helps develop 21st-century skills such as collaboration, cooperation, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and creative and critical thinking. We teach the whole child by engaging in ongoing teacher collaboration and using differentiated instructional techniques that are supported by the best, most current, learning and teaching practices. These various teaching strategies allow us to foster the development of the whole child by embracing the social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs of our students as well as their academic welfare.

For over 15 years, we have been providing an educational environment for students with a variety of learning strengths. We address, and regularly monitor, individualized academic goals, which are areas of interest and academic strengths and needs. The academic goals are regularly addressed with input from both our multidisciplinary team and the student. We recognize that each of our students learn in different ways. We embrace the individuality of each student and acknowledge that each student is unique. Our students, perhaps Gifted, ADHD and/or Dyslexic, may require additional support in the areas of academic advancement.
